Willow Room
"The things that make me different are the things that make me." – Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne
In Willow Room we focus on creating a warm, engaging space that nurtures independence, creativity, and social development. At this stage, children are beginning to explore their world with greater curiosity and confidence, so we provide plenty of opportunities for them to discover through play.
Our room is carefully organised with materials that encourage both individual and group activities. The children can engage in sensory play with items like water, sand, and paint, building their fine motor skills and imagination. We also offer activities that promote cognitive development, such as matching games and pattern recognition, to help them explore the connections between objects and learn through trial and error
Language development is a key focus, with daily storytime, songs, and rhymes that help expand vocabulary and improve listening skills. At this age, we begin encouraging self-expression through simple conversations and group activities. Children also participate in social activities where they learn about cooperation and empathy, such as sharing toys and collaborating in role-play games

Outdoor play is essential to this stage of development, so children enjoy regular time in the fresh air where they can climb, run, and experiment with large motor skills. The balance of indoor and outdoor activities fosters both physical and emotional growth, ensuring each child feels confident in their abilities as they interact with the world around them
